The course covers a range of advanced topics in transportation optimization, including solution methods of integer programming, vehicle routing problems, public transit scheduling, network reliability, discrete-event simulation, and pedestrian simulation. Students will read the related journal papers and complete assignments. Python/Gurobi will be used for homework assignments and a high level of proficiency in the language is required. The course will be lectured in Chinese only.
